So my husband had this little motorcylce accident last week. And I know when the terms "motorcycle" and "accident" come up in the same sentence it doesn't sound too promising - but please note, a deer ran out in front of him on his way to work - so there were no other vehicles involved.
One broken Tibia, One broken fibula, a new 15" rod (to reinforce the tibia), some road rash, and about a dozen stitches on his face. But Alive - definitely an up-side to the down.
It will drop you to your kness in a hurry. We have been treated so well by all of our medical staff and have been so blessed by the outpouring of family, friends, and prayer. Thanks everyone! We are so THANKFUL for you!
(hopefully this post will include a photo of the x-ray soon... it looks so cool.)
